The Polish setter is staying in Superleague, but he decided to change his employer. After a year in Fakiel Novy Urengoy, Zygadlo is going to Zenit Kazan, the bronze medalist of Superleague 2012/2013.

 

 

Lukasz Zygadlo travels a lot. He left Poland in 2004 and since then he came back to PlusLiga only for one season (2007/2008 in Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle). He has experience in Turkey (Halkbank Ankara, Panathinaikos), Italy (Itas Diatec Trentino) and, of course, he knows Russia very well (Kaliningrad, Urengoy). He seems to feel good in every climate.

Now, a big challenge is ahead of him. Zenit Kazan is a team with a lot of ambition and a hunger for success, because this last season was not really great for them. Kazan gained “only” two bronze medals: of Superleague and in the Champions League. Now they are thinking about improve this result and Lukasz Zygadlo (replacing Valerio Vermiglio) is one of those who is supposed to solve the problem.
