Canadian player is coming back to PlusLiga. After four years of break, Poland will be his home again.
Dan Lewis has a lot of experience with Polish league. In 2006 he came to Skra Belchatow for two seasons. He left Skra with two gold medals and Polish Cup. Then he changed the city for Kedzierzyn-Kozle, but it wasn’t such a successfull time anymore. Years 2009-2013 he spent in ACH Volley Bled (participating also in the Champions League).
Now Polish fans will meet again this fine player. Lewis will support Zaksa as a receiver, not a libero. Head coach of the Polish vice champion, Sebastian Swiderski, said: we needed someone to help Michal Ruciak in defence and these are the best values of Dan Lewis. Swiderski also appreciates the friendly nature of the Canadian. He can bring the great spirit to the team and it’s crucial to build a group of people which are going to complement one another. Dan is the kind of man I need.- he added.
With this transfer Zaksa Kedzierzyn completed it’s squad for the season 2013/2014. Along with Lewis, Zaksa contracted Wojciech Ferens, Dick Kooy and Grzegorz Bociek.
